The Short Version
1. What Is an Affiliate Link?
An affiliate link is a special tracking URL that tells a partner retailer that a visitor came from SunSeed Kitchen. If that visitor buys something within the partner's tracking window (typically 24 hours to 30 days), we earn a small commission from the retailer — never from you.
You always pay the same price (or, where applicable, a discounted price) whether you use our link or navigate to the retailer directly. We never mark up products.
2. Our Affiliate Partners
SunSeed Kitchen currently participates in or has applied to the following affiliate programs:
- Instacart — same-day grocery delivery from local stores.
- Amazon Fresh / Amazon Associates — grocery and pantry staples.
- Thrive Market — organic, non-GMO, and clean-label pantry essentials.
- iHerb — supplements, sea moss, and herbs.
- Misfits Market — fresh organic produce.
We may add or remove affiliate partners over time. Where required by FTC rules, we identify affiliate links inline near the link itself (e.g., "Affiliate Link" or a partner-required disclosure tag).
3. Our Editorial Independence
Affiliate revenue does not influence which recipes we publish, how we rank ingredients, or what we recommend in our meal plans. Recipes are developed by our culinary team based on alkaline-vegan principles — not commercial agreements.
If a recipe calls for an ingredient that happens to be sold by an affiliate partner, we may link to that partner. If a partner does not stock it, we link to the best alternative we can find, affiliate or not.
4. Sponsored Content & Paid Reviews
If we ever publish content that is sponsored, paid for, or provided in exchange for free product, we will clearly label it as "Sponsored", "Paid Partnership", or "Gifted" at the top of the post. Generic affiliate links (covered above) are disclosed by this policy and inline notes near the link.
